Max Koeune, the President and CEO of McCain Foods Limited, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “It’s inspiring to hear from our wonderful array of guests, including some of McCain’s very own experts, on the work already taking place – providing an encouraging outlook for the agriculture community.”
In the welcome message to the first episode of podcast, titled “Can we farm without harm?”, it is said that the series addresses the burning issue of climate change and asks how regenerative agriculture can help solve the problem.
“Our food supply is heavily reliant on industrial agriculture, but current intensive farming methods cannot be sustained in the long term. Techniques used to maximize food production are having a negative effect on climate, biodiversity and soil health. We need our food supply to be sustainable in the face of an ever-changing world.”
